Unless you actually grew up in a galaxy far, far away, you know what the deal is with “Star Wars.” George Lucas originally created three movies in the ’70s and ’80s, and then went back to make the first three episodes of the saga in the ’90s and ’00s. This writing structure may have caused some questionable directions to the storyline, but that didn’t matter too much: The movies were extremely successful, and “Star Wars” is cherished today as one of the greatest additions to American cultural canon.
